About Us

We Are here for You

Why? Simple. We have the most talented designers and developers on our team, and our team is here to serve you. Whether developing a new brand, or extending an existing brand, Coggan Creative is a one-stop design shop. And we have something extra — a refreshing, ‘non-techie’ attitude that sets us apart from all the other web teams out there. How does this play out?

  • Knowledge. We share it. You will be educated. With over twenty years of professional design experience, we’ve learned that educating our clients is the most direct way to ensure effective strategies for their projects.
  • Research. We do it. We will learn about you, your business, your customers, and your competitors, creating well-targeted, goal-driven results.
  • Communication. We insist on it. Every step of the way, every pixel, we are here to answer your questions, address your concerns and provide useful insights, assuring that the outcome of every project is nothing short of perfection.
  • Value. We provide it. On behalf of our team, I can say unequivocally that trusting us with your project will be one of the best investments you’ve ever made.
  • Attention. We bring it. Everything we work on is first reviewed by the team, then by me personally. Nothing leaves this shop without my approval.
  • Fun. We have it. We love this work! Design and development is our passion. Every project is an extension of this passion and no project is complete until both our team and our clients are 100% satisfied.

So, on behalf of my talented team, I encourage you to trust in Coggan Creative.

Our Team

Christopher CogganChristopher C.
Director of Visual Confusion/Founder

Christopher Coggan, the founder and visionary behind Coggan Creative, has worked as a professional designer for over fifteen years. Coggan Creative was founded in 2002 after Chris left the first agency he started in an attempt to refocus his efforts on his true passion – unparalleled design. Through the success of his design agency, Chris branched off into other businesses as well, opening a well-received clothing store and a cafe in 2007.

Now, in 2010, Chris has moved on from his other ventures to focus exclusively on design once again. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UCSD in 1997 and is currently working to finish his Masters of Fine Art, also from UCSD. His creative background was forged on the streets of Los Angeles, where he was a well-known street artist and innovator.

Lance D.Lance D.
Head of Bug Creation/Founder
Lance is Coggan Creative’s resident “answer man.” When you can’t seem to find anyone with even a definite yes or no to a question, he not only has an answer, but the way to achieve it as well… and that in plain English despite his deep rooted core as a nerd. He holds a bachelor of science with emphasis in computer engineering and computer science, several certifications for web programming languages (PHP & MySQL if you’re curious), and combines that with years of experience as the head trainer and strategic client advisor for one of the largest real estate software companies in the world. When you need a nerd to hand craft your web-based dream or strategy that will make your web-based endeavors actually achieve something, you simply ask Lance.

Today his online hobbies and business exploits have collided as he directs our web-based development efforts with PHP, MySQL, AJAX, and a host of other acronyms that normal people don’t care about. In his spare time, he enjoys long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, and… wait… sorry… wrong biography. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, vacationing to Orlando and Hawaii, and deepening his love for all things computer.
